You can expect a high quality experience at Sky Phoenix. It's located on level 6, next to Max Brenner in Westfield, Sydney. The fastest way is to go up in the lift if you want to avoid walking through all the shops. Or you can take the express entrance up the escalator next to the pharmacy.
I order chrysanthemum tea which is very refreshing and order dumplings. The skin on the dumplings is always translucent, thin and does well to hold the hot filling. My favourite dumplings include prawn and garlic, prawn and scallop dumplings.
I've been here a few times and the food has always been really good, not too busy and it's quite clean. There's always a slight issue at yum cha with customer service so it is the norm to flail your card to get the bill or use hand gestures to get attention of staff.
I am sometimes tempted by the crumbed calamari which is lightly battered and crispy. Sky Phoenix is reasonably priced and is great for groups. It's very consistent! I'll be back!
