Ajisan, Sussex Centre, Sydney Chinatown

I've been working in the city for some time and I'm still exploring different lunch options. As I walk around chinatown this one particular time, I head into the Sussex Centre and find a new regular spot to head to. 

Miss Americas Diner, Riverwood

Miss Americas Diner is a pop-up that occurs every Friday and Sunday from 6pm in Riverwood. It's the place to be out west so reservations are highly recommended.

Soffritto, Enmore - NOW CLOSED

Society Pizzeria Di Catania, Bondi

Dazz and Melle visit Society Pizzeria di Catania on a Saturday night, and by 6:30pm the place is bustling. The pizzeria can fit just 6 tables inside, and there is a queue out the door by 7pm. Get here early if you are hungry!

Scarlett Restaurant, Harbour Rocks Hotel, The Rocks

Scarlett Restaurant has launched a new Spring menu with new head chef Joey Dela Victoria. Scarlett Restaurant is a bit of a hidden gem as it hides within the Harbour Rocks Hotel.

Adam Richman (best known from Man v Food) teams up with Castello to launch the new sliced blue cheese product which is also being featured at Guilty. I love cheese.

Rubyo's, Newtown

When I realised Rubyo's also did brunch on Sundays, I decided to come back for a double date. Rubyo's is a gorgeous venue so it's always nice to visit.

Dazz and Mel were invited to check out Newtown Bar called The Thirsty Wolf, Newtown, to put their new Wing Roulette Challenge to the test!

Izakaya Samurai, Neutral Bay

Izakaya Samurai recently celebrated their 3rd anniversary. I totally rate Izakaya Samurai as one of best Japanese restaurants in Sydney. I love the fresh produce, the friendly staff and the prices are reasonable for the portions.

Sydney Noodle Markets, Hyde Park Sydney CBD

The Noodle Markets are back and I'm really happy with all the choices I made this year. My tastebuds were very happy and all my money magically disappeared. AHHH!!! 

Mamak, Chinatown Sydney

I have read about Mamak underpaying their staff and I really hope they have paid their fines and rectified the situation because they have such amazing food. 

Sushi Hub, Queen Victoria Building

I've been eating some heavy meals recently so I need to eat a bit lighter. I head to Sushi Hub in Queen Victoria Building for a quick take away bite to eat. Sushi is a nice lighter meal that's high in protein.

Bare Grill, Surry Hills

I'm so excited that Bare Grill has expanded to another location in Surry Hills. Their original store in La Perouse always had long queues for their delicious and famous burgers (I know people travelled for these burgers) but now they can venture out to Surry Hills.

Norsk Dor, Sydney CBD

Norsk Dor is the new kid on the block, recently opened four months ago. It serves up a Viking inspired Scandinavian menu in cosy and posh decore. Bone Marrow anyone?

Mc Donalds, Darling Quarter

So being a food blogger, some of my work mates might think that I would be too snobby for a meal at Maccas. I still have a weakness for Maccas despite the vast variety of choices in Sydney. 

The Maccas at Darling Quarter is pretty decent. The staff are pretty good and the venue is clean. My only fear is of the seagulls and ibis birds that seem to attack anyone with food outside the venue. DO NOT FEED THE BIRDS PEOPLE! PLEASE.

Higher Ground, Melbourne CBD

After 45 minutes of waiting on a Saturday morning, was the wait worth it at Higher Ground? My friend who moved to Melbourne highly recommended Higher Ground but I was feeling very impatient this day.

Schnitz, Top Ryde

I head back to Schnitz for a schnitty sandwich and for some of those delicious chippies for lunch.

Hash Specialty Coffee & Roasters, Melbourne CBD

Recommended by one of the locals, I visited Hash Specialty Coffee and Roasters for brunch. To our shock and pleasure, they served complimentary sparkling water - something absolutely unheard of in Sydney. Haha.

BurgerFuel, Newtown

I try Burger Fuel for the first time. There's quite a high rating on zomato however I've heard mixed feedback from some of my fellow food bloggers. So I basically have high and low expectations coming into Burger Fuel!!

Sushi Hub, Central Sydney CBD

Apparently it's the 10 year anniversary for Sushi Hub in October 2016. Happy Birthday!! They have some competitions going on throughout October 2016 if you're keep to one of 27,600 prizes including a trip to Japan, sushi donuts or other food prizes. I love Japan. I hope I win.

I have been eating more sushi and sashimi recently for lunch. It makes me feel a bit lighter. I go for a walk to Sushi Hub in central and an epic long line at Sushi Hub. You know that the produce must be fresh as they go through massive turn over.
