It's been a long day of eating and walking in the Taste Food Tour. It being early in the City on a rivercat ride into Parramatta. The final stop is at Grounds Keeper Cafe in Parramatta Park.
This tour is great for tourists that are looking to experience the mix of cultures in Australia. For those who do not know, Taste Food Tours is a charity organisation that looks to spread the word of cultural diversity through food tours that employ refugees or those who come from a diverse background.
I'm feeling a bit tired by this stage as this is the final stop. I've tried a melting pot of cuisines as part of the Australian culture which has been a great experience and also done some cruising on a river cat and also some walking around Parramatta. Read about what's happened so far

So what better way to finish the Taste Food Tour then to sit down with a cup of tea.
I love a nice cup of tea and the teapots come out. I sip in a refreshing and spiced chai tea which is really comforting. The cakes come out to share and there's two cakes that I share.
Firstly, there's the Persian Pavlova cake which has large chunks of fruit and is quite dense. The second is a flowery Moroccan Orange Cake.
Matt tries the Persian Pavlova cake first. Matt eats quite a few mouthfuls and says he's not sure how it resembles pavlova aside from chunks of fruit because a signature part of a pavlova is the meringue and there's none. Perhaps the name is misleading but it's a nice Persian fruit cake.
I go for the Moroccan Orange Cake which is also dense so I sip some more tea. I think this cake would be good if you were a bit hungry but given I was not that hungry, I found it slightly too dense. It was still pleasant to eat.
So that's it! I had a great tour and would recommend to tourists. If you're interested in booking this tour then go to this link for more information.
