For a casual lunch, I stopped by Jones the Grocer which is located in the fancy food court in Westfield Sydney.
When you first walk by Jones the Grocer, there are a number of tasty cakes in a window to tempt you. I walk in and start eyeing off what everyone else is ordering as I was hungry. I eye off a chicken burger which was about to be served. As this was a girly catch up, we immediately order a glass of sparkling champagne to start our lunch.I share a chicken burger (top and above photo, $20.00) which is crumbed with cheese, coleslaw with a side of fries and home made tomato sauce. The crumbed chicken is crunchy an is perfectly complemented by the slaw. It's a tasty burger and hard to fault but you would expect so for a $20 burger. A recommend!
For a more balanced meal, I also shared the barramundi ($28.00, below) which had crispy skin and sat on a bed of rocket, cherry tomato and slightly zingy tomato sauce. The fish was cooked perfectly and was nice and light.
Overall, another nice and clean experience at Jones the Grocer. I suggest popping by for a casual lunch in good company.
