I think the pandemic has definitely affected most people mentally and emotionally as the lockdown continues in Sydney. As a little treat, I order a few burgers to be delivered from Piccolo Me. Who can resist a tasty burger?

Cruising for Chicks in the North Shore?? Chicken and Sons isn't your run-of-the-mill charcoal chook shop. You won't find the clinical looking setup and plastic community hall chairs you often see at many suburban establishments because this store changes the game completely.

On another quiet night, I decide to order some delivery the from Epping. I hadn't tried Rang Mahal before which specialises in Indian cuisine.

Coffee Box, Darling Harbour

Coffee Box is literally a box located in the corner in Harbour Side Shopping Centre in Darling Harbour. This little cafe sure surprised me with this epic hybrid breakfast burger.

Hung Over meal... Oporto

I must confess I was feeling a bit hung over after a big night out drinking with MW. I rarely drink that much so my liver got a good work out! So the next day, MW and I go for some comfort food in Rhodes to make us feel better. 

Sushi Hub, Chatswood

I've been eating some heavy meals recently so I need to eat a bit lighter. I head to Sushi Hub in Queen Victoria Building for a quick take away bite to eat. Sushi is a nice lighter meal that's high in protein.

Mc Donalds, Darling Quarter

So being a food blogger, some of my work mates might think that I would be too snobby for a meal at Maccas. I still have a weakness for Maccas despite the vast variety of choices in Sydney. 

The Maccas at Darling Quarter is pretty decent. The staff are pretty good and the venue is clean. My only fear is of the seagulls and ibis birds that seem to attack anyone with food outside the venue. DO NOT FEED THE BIRDS PEOPLE! PLEASE.

BurgerFuel, Newtown

I try Burger Fuel for the first time. There's quite a high rating on zomato however I've heard mixed feedback from some of my fellow food bloggers. So I basically have high and low expectations coming into Burger Fuel!!

Sushi Hub, Central Sydney CBD

Apparently it's the 10 year anniversary for Sushi Hub in October 2016. Happy Birthday!! They have some competitions going on throughout October 2016 if you're keep to one of 27,600 prizes including a trip to Japan, sushi donuts or other food prizes. I love Japan. I hope I win.

I have been eating more sushi and sashimi recently for lunch. It makes me feel a bit lighter. I go for a walk to Sushi Hub in central and an epic long line at Sushi Hub. You know that the produce must be fresh as they go through massive turn over. 

Ho Jiak, Strathfield

My girlfriends and I decide to catch up in Strathfield at Ho Jiak for a nice, cheap and cheerful dinner. WOW, look at their new signature dish above which is the floating chopstick noodles.

Sofra, West Ryde

It's been a long time coming but I have finally lost my HSP virginity. HSP stands for Halal snack pack. I first heard of HSP on facebook but more recently has been made popular in reference to an interview with Pauline Hanson.

Bella's Shack, Bella Vista Hotel, Bella Vista

I've seen some really tasty photos of Bella's Shack on instagram and decide to check it out for myself. I venture out to the Hills district where Bella's Shack resides at the Bella Vista Hotel.

QUICK REVIEW: I was in the area heading to Fairfield on Sunday and needed to grab a quick bite. MW reckons the best place to get a kebab locally is at Musti's in Smithfield however it was CLOSED so I head to Tommy's Kebabs instead.

Lees Malaysian since 1982, Sydney CBD

IT'S GETTING COLD! Time to get out the soups and broths! I head to the food court in the PWC Tower in Darling Park for some noodles from Lees Malaysian Since 1982.

Carl's Jr, Bateau Bay

Out of curiousity, I make the trip to Bateau Bay to check our Carl's Jr and also take the opportunity to go to the beach.

El Jannah, Granville

El Jannah is famous in Sydney for having the most delicious charcoal chicken accompanied with garlic sauce and pickles. It originated in Granville which has stiff competition.
