Maruko Gyoza Dumplings, Cooking time

Can I confess that I'm not very good at cooking. I've always wanted restaurant quality gyozas at home but I've burnt them before. This time, I buy some HIGH quality gyoza which is from the brand Maruko and am determined to cook a restaurant quality dish of gyozas. Let's see how I go.

Mel's Big Family Xmas Do

My friend Mel invited me to her big family Xmas get together. With about 30 people bringing all lots of delicious food together, boy was I lucky to be at this lovely family affair. A slightly delayed post but this absolutely brings Xmas back to life. My tastebuds are dancing right now by just looking at the photos.

The giant ham (above) which was being glazed repeatedly was succulent and delicious. It was giant sized though and I was left thinking even with 30 people, how are they going to tackle this?? There was a lot of ham left over in the end due to the enormous size.

I also tried an assortment of other delicious forms of pork and duck (below). I also enjoyed my favourite seafood - prawns with one of the Uncle's secret seafood sauce recipe.

Yummy! Thanks for the invite Mel!

Leesa's Kitchen

I always love a good stir fry.  I cooked this one using hokkein noodles, honey soy prawn tempura pieces with vegetables topped with fried onion and corriander.

Cooking time

Here were my efforts to make a delicious but healthy meal. Fish in a light tomato sauce with a side of tomato, basil and cauliflower.  With a side salad of pear and parmesan.

Yum.  The flavours don't quite mesh well together but I love pear and parmesan cheese.

I'm  cooking a bit more these days.  Corn Fritters which a special blend of spices was the dish of choice and it was very tasty if I don't say so myself. ** Hi5's myself.**

Accompanied with some strawberry vanilla cider...

Corn Fritters with sweet chilli and coriander sauce; with a side of salad.

Leesa's Kitchen

About a month ago I made pizza; pizza dough from scratch and all.  It was a night of romancing myself but I thought I would post this to remind myself of how delicious it was.  I usually use the Jamie Oliver recipe for the pizza dough which is tasty tasty tasty.

A few glasses of shiraz went well down too.

Kneeha's kitchen

Check out this awesome dry indian curry that my friend Kneeha cooked for me.  It was super spicy but it was beautiful.  It's a dish that consist of chicken, onion, capsicum, onion, garlic, chilli and ginger with a secret combination of spices.

It was really hot through so Kneeha also fed me some yoghurt to cool down my tongue.

It was after an awesome day of rock climbing in St Leonards.
