Basket Brothers, Parramatta

Matt and I head into North Parramatta for some brunch at Basket Brothers. I love a good brunch, particularly on a Sunday. It's quite busy as I walk in but we manage to get a table inside. The decore at Basket Brothers is modern and clean. I notice the big board that says Basket Brothers and the hanging hipster lights.

Hide and Seek Cafe, Leichhardt - NOW CLOSED

Ho Jiak, Haymarket

I'm a massive fan of Malaysian food and Ho Jiak in Strathfield so when I heard they were opening up another store in the city, I was very happy.   Head Chef, Junda inspired by his Grandma knows that fresh ingredients and bold flavours are the key to continuing her legacy.  The City store has a different menu though so here's the low down on what to order.

Now I must confess that I am no expert when it comes to Venezuelan cuisine but I was eager to check it out. Matt also loves trying new things. Are you food adventurous?
