Unaya, Wentworth Point

It's been some time since I've been to Wentworth Point but now there's a whole set of shops and restaurants now open. I am invited to Asian Fusion Japanese restaurant Unaya on this particular Saturday.

Albion Place Hotel, Sydney CBD

On this particular Saturday, my friend Andrew and I catch up at Albion Place Hotel. I've been craving some pub food recently.  I've walked past Albion Place Hotel several times but it's been a few years since I've been inside.

Ryo's, Crows Nest

I've been to Ryo's many times and most locals in Sydney would know about Ryo's and how it is famous for its ramen. It's known for it's ramen rather than decore or anything else. I think it's a nice cheap and cheerful restaurant.

Cheat Day, Peakhurst

Matt and I are not locals to Peakhurst but we decide to check out new venue, Cheat Day. The premise of Cheat Day is that it's set up with a gym themed restaurant with menu items named after famous body builders.

Bottomless Brunch, Bella Vista Hotel, Bella Vista

For those who live in the Hills District, did you hear that the Bella Vista Hotel is now hosting Bottomless Brunches on the weekend? Matt and I head to the hills to check it out. Matt and I both love a tasty cocktail.

For $55 per person, you can get a shared brunch set (with a coffee, tea or juice) or you can upgrade and it will cost you $75 for bottomless cocktails with the shared brunch set (although you need at least 4 people to book this).

I'm not sure if I've ever spend $55 on brunch as this seems a bit excessive but let's see what you get for your dollar!

Wood and Smoke, Darlinghurst

Fans of the Rabbit Hole will be big fans of Wood and Smoke in Darlinghurst. The owner has taken the charm of Rabbit Hole and turned this into the new place to be for delicious cocktails and very easy to eat food.

Plage Restaurant, Cremorne

Plage Restaurant is casual fine dining with Japanese flavours infused with European taste and technique. This venue is fabulous as it show cases fine dining technique at a reasonable price point. I've been here several times and intend on having a function here. They regularly update the menu so let's see what's new.

I am a big fan of Tomoyuki Usui's work, he's such a talented chef, very much worthy of the hat from the Australian Good Food Guide.
