Harbour Bar and Kitchen, Darling Harbour

3/5. I have walked past Harbour Bar and Kitchen a few times but this is my first visit. I never really knew how beautiful the view was from the balcony from Harbour Bar and Kitchen. I think there's a lot of potential with the food but unfortunately there were parts of my platter that were overcooked.

Salmon and Bear, Zetland

Salmon and Bear is located in Zetland. Salmon and Bear is best described as a restaurant that has cabin feel which serves up mostly fish and seafood dishes. It might even get you in the mood for venturing out into nature. I've been to Salmon and Bear in Newtown a few times however unfortunately it has now closed down. I always thought the food was delicious so I was looking forward to see whether the food at Salmon and Bear in Zetland was comparable.

Sydney Cove Oyster Bar, Circular Quay

I've walked past Sydney Cove Oyster Bar several times on my way to the Opera House and it always looked quite popular. It has a great view being right across from the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Matt and I head here for a lovely lunch to see if the food matches the gorgeous views.

La Perla, Gladesville - NOW CLOSED

I've driven past La Perla several times over the last 5 years but I hadn't come in as there's always one person that doesn't like seafood or the odd vegetarian in my family. When I saw this big sign saying, they now serve wood fired pizzas - I thought it was a good time to check it out. Only they didn't serve wood fired pizzas when I got there. Whaaat? (I thought to myself)

I had read a series of bad reviews on Zomato but most of them were old. I should have listen to my gut. I regret taking my family here.
