Mr Weekend Food Escapes is a massive fan of Korean BBQ and this is something we've not had during the pandemic. Eat Box Now contacted Weekend Food Escapes and wanted our honest review on Eat Box Now. 

GBG Korean BBQ, West Ryde

Korean BBQ is such a great experience, for me - I love eating all the sides, the smell from the sizzling meat and also the social setting with friends or family. There's a new Korean BBQ in West Ryde called  Gyeong Bok Gung (Or you can call it GBG). 

Madang Korean BBQ, Sydney

Mr Weekend Food Escapes is a big Korean BBQ fan. While this institution has been around for yonks, it's our first time at Madang Korean BBQ. We are invited here as part of a Hungry Diner event. Tonight, it's a big group event so there's a lot of fun mixed with some chaos.

Mapo Charcoal BBQ, West Ryde

There are many Korean BBQ restaurants in West Ryde and nearby suburb Eastwood. I have often gone to Stoneage and the Barn several times before so I thought I'd check out Mapo Charcoal BBQ for the first time for something different.

Jang Ta Bal, Sydney CBD near World Square

I recently had dinner with my foodie friend Jackie from Does my bomb look big in this. We head to Jang Ba Tal which has two locations in Strathfield and Sydney CBD. We head to Sydney CBD location by entering the lift on Liverpool st, not too far from World Square.

Kobe Wagyu Yakiniku, Sydney CBD

Some of the FCBA crew and I recently check out Kobe Wagyu Yakiniku. I really enjoy eating with my FCBA crew as they are like-minded food lovers! I also enjoy meeting new people. On this occasion, we check out Kobe Wagyu Yakiniku as a group of 7. Kobe Wagyu Yakiniku is located in Sydney CBD, not far from World Square.

Chir Chir, Burwood

I head to Chir Chir which is a Korean restaurant located in Burwood. Matt is a big fan of Korean Fried Chicken and I am eager to check out a new venue that I haven't been to before.

The Nolza, Sydney CBD Karoake and Food

Come on Barbie, let's go party. Who's ready for some Karoake fun with a side drinks and Korean/Japanese food? I check out The Nolza recently along with Matt and a few other singing friends. We got a room straight away thanks to Qtix - an app which allows you to digitally queue up. 

Sparrow's Mill, Taste Food Tours - Part 4

Next stop on the Taste Food Tour is a visit to the Sussex Centre Food Court. The group are all big fans of Korean Fried Chicken. I have been to the Sussex centre food court a few times and have often been tempted to head to Sparrow's Mill Express as it's famous for it's Korean fried chicken. I've had the pleasure of tasting this chicken in Strathfield before.

The Barn Korean BBQ, West Ryde

Matt absolutely loves Korean BBQ and we decide to check out our local "The Barn" which is right across from West Ryde Station. As I walk in on a cold winter night, the room looks quite smokey. That's the one thing I dislike about Korean BBQ - the fact that you smell like meat afterwards. Matt seems to like this effect on the other hand.

Stoneage Korean BBQ, West Ryde

Korean BBQ is big business in Eastwood and in recent times has spread to West Ryde. Stoneage Korea BBQ seems to be very popular so I head there for a local eat.

Won Jo, Strathfield

I had an epic craving for tteokbokki (Korean rice cake) so based on another blogger's advice (all about food blog), I went to Won Jo in Strathfield. I head there on a Friday night where it's actually quite busy.

Kao Kao, Sydney

To be honest, I accidently walked into Kao Kao. I caught up with an old work colleague and we were so busy chatting, we had actually intended to head into the ramen restaurant next store but it was too late. We had sat down.

Welcome BBQ, Eastwood

SIZZLE. Welcome BBQ is highly rated on Zomato and my friend Mel choose this venue because she liked the name. I had no expectations but was surprised.

Oliver Brown Terrace, Top Ryde

The Oliver Brown Terrace in Top Ryde is the only Oliver Brown venue that serves food. It's a neat little cafe that is located in the Top Ryde Shopping Centre. 

Smokkim Korean BBQ, Rhodes

THAT SNOW KOREAN FRIED CHICKEN!! Smokkim Korean BBQ is located in Rhodes. I stopped by for dinner.

Jeans Chilli Chicken, Eastwood

WARNING. TOO SPICY!!!! Jean's Chilli Chicken is located in Eastwood Hotel and is famous for it's chilli chicken.

Red Pepper Bistro, Strathfield

Red Pepper Bistro in Strathfield offers up some delicious Korean Fried Chicken. I've been here once based on a recommendation of a friend who absolutely loves Fried Korean Chicken.
