Manoosh Pizzeria, Waterloo

Baklava - delicious

Hello Sydney! As restrictions are being lifted, I'm still proceeding with caution so I decide for a small drive and some take away from Manoosh Pizzeria in Waterloo. I've been craving some delicious Lebanese pizza.

Hungry Dough, Wareemba

Hungry Dough is a cosy pizza shop located in Wareemba. Hungry Dough has recently organised a "meet up" which had board games and pizza events on selected Sundays. This is an opportunity for people to come together, meet new people, play board games and enjoy some food. What a relaxing way to spend a Sunday. Tickets for this particular meet up were $25 and include a large pizza, sides and lots of fun with the board games.

Massaya, Strathfield South

4/5
Mr Weekend Food Escapes has driven past Massaya a number of times but has yet to dine there. On a quiet Saturday, we head there for lunch and while I am mildly distracted by all the fast food that surrounds the Massaya restaurant, I am looking for a nicer experience this Saturday. Massaya is part Modern Australian in menu and part Lebanese cuisine.

New Star Kebab, Auburn

Auburn has significantly changed over the years. My family often come back to New Star Kebab for a meal over the years. New Star Kebab is an institution in Auburn. On the surface, it just looks like any other kebab shop but the locals know it's a tasty venue for a good price.

Tripoli, Silverwater

Photo taken on my iphone
Silverwater is largely an Industrial area however I recently learnt that there is a small residential area. I was invited to check out a little eatery called Tripoli, a pizzeria and Lebanese venue located amongst many residential houses.  I love Lebanese cuisine, having been introduced to several dishes from friends in school.

Cedrus, Ryde

I had the pleasure of joining my foodie pals from FCBA at Cedrus, a Lebanese restaurant in Ryde. It's located right across from a body of water and a park in between Meadowbank and Ryde. I had been here once a few years ago for a friend's birthday.

Hawa, Granville

It's been some time since I've been to Hawa but I've been having some cravings so Matt and I had to go back for a meal. Not much has changed since I last went.

SaltVine, Surry Hills

On a slightly overcast Sunday, Matt and I head to Surry Hills to check out new Lebanese restaurant SaltVine. It's a modern and upmarket restaurant compared to your humble local Lebanese chicken shop.
