International Nippon Club, Sydney (now closed)

Some times you time travel back into a restaurant - the decore is out dated; it has a slightly stale environment and everyone seems to be over 60.  The sashimi is tasty, the rolls are tasty but there is no wow factor. For me, the food is very important, customer service is important but also dining should be an experience and I guess I was put off by decore and traditional vibe from the waitstaff.

Next time, I'll go back to my favourite Kansai. That's more of an experience.

Prices : about 30 per person

Sashimi main

California Roll - avo and salmon roll

prawn tempura roll
