XS Espresso, Wetherill Park, Western Sydney

XS Espresso in Wetherill Park is a nice hipster cafe. XS Espresso also serves an all day breakfast so it's perfect for a late brunch. The atmosphere is buzzing full of customers. You order and pay at the counter.

There is a steady stream of people coming in so you may have to wait for a table due to the popular demand of the XS Espresso Cafe. Get there early if you can. Patience is key. You'll experience a line similar to the fabulous Ramen at Ryo's or there's always a wait at Grounds of Alexandria.  People wait though because it's worth the wait.

At the very top is the very popular Tim Tam and Peanut Butter Smoothie ($7). It's very sexy to the tastebuds with a rich tim tam and peanut butter flavour, topped with cream and a tim tam cut in half. It's quite rich so if you are looking for a sugar hit then this is your drink! The juices seem to be popular as well at XS Espresso Cafe.

I ordered the XS Stack ($15, above) which had poached eggs (perfectly cooked, look at that egg porn above) on avocado sourdough toast with balsamic vinegar and grilled haloumi on tomato. It's a decent sized breakfast so it's definitely for value and those eggs were perfect. The XS Stack was very tasty and had great flavour combinations.

I also had some of their chicken burger ($15) and their once fried chips (I thought they were fried a times) but seem to be very crunchy. The chicken burger is the most popular lunch item, boasting of a home made peri peri sauce which combines all your traditional ingredients of chicken, bacon, cheese, tomato and rocket.

Overall, I had a great experience with lots of delicious food to excite the senses. Just be mindful of the potential wait. There's also an XS Espresso cafe in Parramatta but it is a coffee only cafe.
