My old high school Meenal had a birthday and we decided to head to 12-Micron located in Barangaroo to celebrate midweek. It's not quite on the water so you need to find the right entrance, up the lift. 

Ubereats First Birthday - Held at the Grounds of Alexandria

The Grounds of Alexandria is a lovely venue that attracts many people on the weekend however on this particular night, it's the venue which is hosting UberEats first birthday. Ompty Media kindly extended an invitation to Weekend Food Escapes.

Banh and Butter, Sydney CBD

Banh and Butter is a new little Vietnamese Asian Fusion Cafe located in Town Hall, right nearby the Galleries. Steph and I are massive fans of Banh Mi and Steph has also been longing for an amazing Vietnamese coffee.

Mamak, Haymarket

On a lazy Sunday, I decide to go to Mamak for an early lunch. Mamak opens at 11:30 am so there's only a handful of people entering at this time. I've always been a big fan of Mamak but I think it's lost some of it's magic.

Flying Egg, St Leonards

I check out Flying Egg recently which is a cafe located in St Leonards. I've had the pleasure of dining at the owner's other venue in Rydalmere so I had some pretty high expectations given the quality i've experienced before.

The Shed, Top Ryde

I've been incredibly unwell and knocked out with a virus recently so I've been spending a lot of time in bed sleeping and I really missed my eating adventures! How are you faring this winter? 

As soon as I was remotely well enough, I headed out locally for a brunch. I head to Top Ryde where there are some new shops nearby the Coles and I check the shed cafe.
