The Record Crate, Glebe

MUSIC, OLD SKOOL RECORDS, DRINKS, FOOD. The Record Crate is located in Glebe and by chance, I drop by with some friends for a drink

When I was walking by on Glebe Point Rd, we walked by the Record Crate and I wasn't sure if it was a music store or a bar. When I saw a few people drinking; I figured it was potentially a mesh of the two.

My friends had been on a mini pub crawl from Newtown en route to dinner in Glebe and so we were eager to have another drink in Glebe. My friend and I are cider drinkers, the barman tells us there is only one cider available but it's the best one so we don't need choice LOL.

I order two Hill Billy Ciders and a beer for my other pal. I'm not sure if I'm a fan of the Hill Billy Cider but I'm still enjoying the company and the atmosphere.

It's a relatively casual and quiet setting so you can socialise and talk to your friends at the Record Crate. There's an outside section as well which is small and intimate. I think this place has a lot of potential. If you're into your music, I also hear there's live music as well. There didn't seem to be when I was there early on a Friday night.

They have food available too which is resembles a pub menu. I'll have to come back some time and see if the food is nice. A nice place for a stop over drink.
