Me Pho, Eastwood

Wagyu Beef Pho anyone? Me Pho in Eastwood serves this up for a price.
Me Pho is a trendy Vietnamese Restaurant in Eastwood. It has eccentric odd pieces of furniture and trendy cutlery and bowls. Me Pho is amongst many eateries in the main strip of Eastwood.

Pho is a traditional Vietnamese rice noodle dish in a soupy broth. It's a meal that doesn't discriminate so your poorest person can generally still afford this dish. It can be eaten for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner in Vietnam. Me Pho is the first restaurant I've ever seen with a Wagyu Beef Pho ($19, pictured at the top).

At most places in Sydney, you can generally expect to pay $10-11 for a big bowl of Pho. It may cost you a little more at Me Pho at $13 for my favourite of Pho Tai (below). The servings are in generous big bowls though.

The chicken pho is also very flavoursome  and homely. Overall I had a nice time and enjoyed the noodle soup dishes. It's a bit more upmarket then I am used to for such a traditional meal but a nice experience overall. Me Pho will have to work hard to compete with the other local eateries with more price competitive Vietnamese dishes.

Prices: $13 to $19

Location: 215 Rowe St, Eastwood

Summary: Lisa's Rating:
