Bettys Burgers, Darling Harbour

The Original Betty's Burgers is an American inspired style kind of burger joint based in Noosa. Betty's Burgers has expanded and is now in Darling Harbour (among other locations).

District Cafe, Marrickville

District Cafe in Marrickville is the sister restaurant of Newtown's Satellites Cafe. Matt and I head there for a Sunday brunch facilitated through the guys from AGFG. 

Devon Cafe, Surry Hills

Devon has long been on my list of cafes to visit and I finally drop by for a nice lunch recently with my other half. Devon is located on devonshire st in Surry Hills which is currently under a lot of roadworks

Taisho Wagyu Japanese BBQ, Zetland

Taisho Wagyu Japanese BBQ is the newest restaurant to hit Zetland and I predict that the locals will absolutely love this place which is their second venue in Sydney. They also have other Japanese favourites on their menu.

Stacks Taverna, Darling Quarter

Stacks Taverna is a bar and popular eatery at lunch time in Darling Quarter. A group of us head to Stacks to farewell our colleague Anne Maree. There's quite a large number of tables of groups inside the venue and outside as well.

Ttotaler, The Galeries, Sydney CBD

On a random whim, I take my interstate friend to Ttotaler to try their Earl Grey Tea Hot chocolate as it sounded quite unique. 

La Provence, Lane Cove

La Provence is a new cafe (former bakery) in Lane Cove, right next to Coles. The owners have a mixture of traditional cafe favourites and also some new fusion dishes that are light, healthy and nourishing.

Din Tai Fung, World Square, Sydney CBD - Revisit

I must admit, I go through periods where I crave Din Tai Fung because of it's lovely dumplings. I head back to the World Square Din Tai Fung with my workmates for a nice lunch to celebrate a belated birthday for Kel.

Restaurant Plage, Cremorne

Dos Senoritas, Gladesville

I've long been a fan of Dos Senoritas in Gladesville for their generous portions and delicious experience. I hadn't been there for a while and noticed they had changed their location. No longer is Dos senoritas on Victoria Rd, they've moved around the corner to Cowell St where there's a small car park outside. 

Pizza Autentico, Surry Hills

Pizza Autentico is a popular venue for a reasonably priced dinner with a lot of variety! For $20 within 90 minutes, you can eat to your heart's content on pizza and pasta.

Bills, Surry Hills

Over the years, I've heard stellar things about Bills and their breakfast. It's one of those venues that you have on your list to must see. As I was heading off to work interstate, Matt suggests we have breakfast at Bills as a mini send off. 

The Barn Korean BBQ, West Ryde

Matt absolutely loves Korean BBQ and we decide to check out our local "The Barn" which is right across from West Ryde Station. As I walk in on a cold winter night, the room looks quite smokey. That's the one thing I dislike about Korean BBQ - the fact that you smell like meat afterwards. Matt seems to like this effect on the other hand.

Mezza Via Italian, Denistone

Work has been absolutely crazy recently and it's these times that make me cherish the weekend even more. So I feel like I'm literally escaping with food on the weekend! Right before I headed up to Brisbane for a work trip, Matt and I settled on date night at our favourite local Italian - Mezze Via in Denistone. 

Ippudo, Sydney

Ippudo has had a stellar stream of people every time I walk past at lunch or dinner. I came here 4 years ago and didn't feel like ramen so I tried all this other random fusion food which didn't sit well with me. This time I came back for the ramen on a cold night with my gals Yuri and Mel.

Holy Duck - New winter dinner menu, Chippendale

Have you been to Kensington St? There's so many great places including the venue Holy Duck which is an Asian Fusion restaurant and is a sister restaurant to Chef's Gallery.  I recently head here to check out their new winter menu.

Grill'd, Penrith

While Grill'd is not necessarily the best burger joint in Sydney, I have to say that I have a very consistent experience regardless of which Grill'd venue I go to. I check out the Penrith store for a quick lunch to see if it's a consistent experience. This is a delayed blog post.
