Dulcet Cakes and Sweets, Burwood

Dulcet Cakes and Sweets is an Asian Dessert Eatery located in Burwood. I often find Asian desserts more subtle in sweetness compared to Western desserts. I'm enjoying the Asian flavours that seem really popular these days though including matcha, black sesame and red bean though. So what's on offer at Dulcet Cakes and Sweets?

Cucinetta, Woolwich

I head into Cucinetta in Woolwich on this particularly sunny and gorgeous Sunday. Cucinetta has one hat from the Australian Good Food Guide so I was eager to check it out and had high expectations. I look out and see the Harbour Bridge view and smile. It's a nice day and you have to appreciate life's little pleasures.

Substation, Alexandria

Sundays are the best day to enjoy a nice brunch. Matt and I head to Substation in Alexandria at about 10am. The cosy cafe is buzzing and full of people who are enjoying their weekend. 

Salmon and Bear, Newtown

Salmon and Bear has two locations, one in Newtown and one in Zetland. I recently visit Salmon and Bear in Newtown with Matt for a nice Saturday date night. 

Vic's Meat Market, Pyrmont

Weekend Food Escapes in particular Matt are MASSIVE fans of Vic's Meat Market. So when I recently found out they are open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights with a new menu. I had to get there immediately! Woop Wooppp! Matt was looking forward to this all week when I told him we would be heading here on this particular Friday night.

Meet Mica, Surry Hills

Cafe Meet Mica is located in Surry Hills and is a very popular joint. I'm craving for a nice Asian Fusion brunch and I notice a large young Asian customer base here.

Eat House Diner, Redfern

Matt and I walk hand in hand on this particular Saturday excited from the day's events and we are looking forward to a nice dinner at Eat House Diner in Redfern. It's a short walk from Redfern station. 

Italian Bar Franchi Brothers, Paddington

Italian Bar Franchi Brothers is located in Paddington. I head here on a sunny Sunday afternoon with Matt. From the outside, it looks like a tiny restaurant but I am pleasantly surprised at the little courtyard area at the back.

The Meat and Wine co., Parramatta

The weather is starting to get cooler and I've been craving red meat. I recently found out that The Meat and Wine Co. is now open in Parramatta so I meet up with some of my foodies with my Food Critics Bloggers Association (FCBA) crew.
