Royal Oak, Balmain

Today, I want to share my experience at the Royal Oak in Balmain. Mr Weekend Food Escapes wanted a Sunday Roast so we set out to see what the Royal Oak had to offer. 

It's been so cold in the Sydney winter. I hope this warms you up. 

Manjit's, Balmain

If you've strolled along King St Wharf, you may have noticed the very popular restaurant Manjit's at the Wharf. I discovered that Manjit's had originally opened in Balmain and has been there for over 30 years (since 1984). Wow! The locals must all know about this gem but it was my first time visiting this Balmain venue.

Where the Bean Drops, Rozelle

Where the Bean Drops is a cosy little cafe located on Darling St in Rozelle. On a cold rainy day,  I pop by for some breakfast with Matt. I love this area.

The Cottage Bar and Kitchen, Balmain

I visit The Cottage Bar and Kitchen in Balmain on a lazy Sunday afternoon. Luckily I had a table booked as it quickly filled up by 12:30pm with a buzzing atmosphere outside and the tables inside being filled up as well.
