Pub Life Kitchen, Ultimo

PUB LIFE KITCHEN is a favourite for many Sydney foodies. I'm calling it Sydney's BEST buttermilk Chicken burger. I'm so glad my PLK virginity has been broken. 

Pub Life Kitchen is located in Ultimo in the Lord Wolseley Hotel. It's a bit of a walk from Town Hall but it will be worth it. You may also need the walk after lunch because it's highly satisfying. I got there early on a Saturday at 12pm and easily got a table.

The T.L.C (above, $17) is the buttermilk chicken with pickles, cheese and a green sriacha mayo. The chicken taste like it's been lathered and bathed in a milky butter. The buttery milky taste makes the chicken taste so tender and moist. It's such a delight to eat. I'd definitely recommend this burger.

The chips are deceivingly tasty. They are thin french fries with seasoning.

There's also the O.G which is the original 200g Beef Patty, american cheese, pickles, lettuce, pickles and house made aioli ($17, below). It's cooked medium rare and is the classic pub burger.

Highlights: The burgers are great. Recommend both for sure. That Buttermilk chicken is absolutely divine. I have fond memories and can still taste this in my mouth. I can see why many food bloggers are in love with Pub Life Kitchen. 

The burger fanatics would love this place. I'd love to come back on a Wednesday night to check out their experimental burger.

Suggested Improvements: Hopefully they open up more locations that are more central. Hard to fault otherwise.

Prices: $17 for burger and fries. You buy your drinks from the bar.
