The Tan Viet Noodle House is very popular in Cabramatta. The Eastwood version seems to be very popular as well buzzing full of hungry patrons. So you no longer have to venture to Cabramatta for a satisfying and delicious meal. Its 90% like rate on urbanspoon is on the right pulse for a casual meal on a cold day.
The BBQ Pork with Egg noodles is a winner at $10. The meal is very wholesome and I quite like the mix of lettuce, greens in the broth. The crispy chicken seems to be very popular but I really wanted a dish with lots of broth.
It is a clean establishment with big photos on the wall like some sort of contemporary art exhibition. Tea is complimentary - like many other Vietnamese restaurants.
The broth of the Pho Tai was amazing. Pho Tai comes with raw beef but the beef is quickly cooked in the broth. It's packed full of beefy flavours that are highly aromatic and the thai basil, lemon and a bit of chili just made the pho a really hearty and traditional Vietnamese Pho. Overall I quite enjoyed my experience at Tan Viet.
