Sonora Mexican, Potts Point

Sonora can be best described as Modern Mexican with a twist of fine dining and creativity from new Head Chef and Owner Roy McVeigh. Sonora in Potts Point is under new management. I check out their new tasting menu - $85 per head which is an absolute steal in today's environment.

Macleay St Bistro, Potts Point

From my instagram WeekendFoodEscapes

From Matt's photography

Macleay St Bistro is in it's 37th year of operations and has long term standing customers.
I have been to Macleay St Bistro twice last year and I am eager to return again for another delicious meal. Macleay St Bistro is perfection and is firmly locked in my food memory bank. So I have high expectations as it's my third visit.

Lot One, Potts Point

Lot One is located in Potts Point and is known for their upmarket Modern Australian food. More recently they have launched a new Autumn menu and have launched Friday night bar area where you can order cocktails and canapes. I had such a divine experience last time so I was eager to check out their new menu.

Lot One is located just off the main strip of Potts Point. Potts Point is the new location for Lot One and previously was located in the Sydney CBD. I was looking forward to a nice lunch with Matt.

Macleay St Bistro, Potts Point

I had the pleasure of dining at Macleay St Bistro recently with my other half. Matt loves french food so we both are looking forward to this particular lunch. Macleay St Bistro has been an institution in Potts Point and celebrates their 35th year in 2018. A lady at my work said it was one of her favourite restaurants ever and another lady at my work said she loved Macleay St Bistro so I had high expectations.

Ms. G's, Potts Point

I recently had the pleasure of dining with my work mates at Ms G's in Potts Point. I've heard great things about Ms G's and their famous burger spring rolls. As we are dining in a group - we go with the banquet. The banquet is $67 with a requirement of 4 people or more.

Society Di Catania, Potts Point

It’s Friday night and what better way to start the weekend than dinner with a group of our fave friends. We catch the train and Society di Catania is a conveniently 1-2 min walk from Kings Cross station on a quiet part of Victoria St.
