Love Dem Apples, Surry Hills

My favourite dessert discovery this week is Love Dem Apples! My friend Mel and I were walking to a restaurant in Surry Hills and got distracted by Love Dem Apples.

Do you recall going back to your childhood eating a toffee apple? Well the humble toffee apple has been given an adult indulgent upgrade. Love Dem Apples uses granny smith apples which are generously coated with a broad range of toppings.

We stood there for ages trying to decide. They had really good deals when buying 4 (Any 4 for $20), that we walked out with 8 of them!! The classic ones are $7 each, the royal ones are $9 and the limited edition ones are $11.

Above is the Tim Tam, Go Nuts, Honey Come Home, Pina Colada, Picnic, Cookies and Cream, Apple Pie, Mexican Spice.

The Granny Smith Apples are mildly sour so they contrast well with all the sweet toppings. It's so hard to pick a favourite but I personally prefer anything with chocolate in it!!

They will last a few weeks if you put them in the fridge as well. I think it makes for a lovely present as well! Check it out my lovelies.

Summary: If you have a sweet tooth then you'll love Love Dem Apples. It's best consumed by cutting the apple with a knife or you will break some teeth!!
