Beak and Sons Gourmet Meats

Good food, good times and good meat. I recently got the opportunity to review Beak and Sons Gourmet Meats. For context, Mr Weekend Food Escapes is a big meat eater and loves a good BBQ. I can be a bit picky about what meat I eat on the other hand.
I pick up a series of Beak and Sons products from Woolworths including Beak & Sons King Of Wagyu Burger 270g $6.50 and the Beak and Sons God Father Sausages 500g $7.00 for dinner time. The meat is reasonably priced.

We start with a BBQ burger with the Beak & Sons King Of Wagyu Burger. I prepare a nice salad while Mr Weekend Food Escapes prepares the Wagyu burger by melting tasty cheese on the BBQ. I really like the wagyu burgers - they taste just like restaurant prepared burgers! Dinner was quite nice with this delicious wagyu burger. I recommend.

We also prepare some sausages with the Beak & Sons The Godfather Sausages 500g. These sausages are pork and beef sausages with pepperoni, cheese, chilli and italian herbs. These subtle little additions are a great flavour to the sausage. Mr Weekend Food Escapes is quite happy with the taste of these sausages and said he would purchase again. I think they are quite tasty and a slight notch above your usual sausages.

In addition to this, in collaboration with Esquire, Beak and Sons held an event "A Surprisingly Royal Event". Esquite is a lovely venue located in the Queen Victoria Building in Town Hall. I enjoy a sip of champagne to kick off this event.

I'm eager to see how the Beak and Son's meat is prepared by professionals.  It may very well provide for some inspo at home. There's the Hickory Smoked Ribs served with pineapple. These ribs are coated in a nice sauce and I enjoy the subtle smokey flavours. The pineapple is a clever addition, adding a slight sweetness. The chicken sausage baos are quite nice as well. I would have never thought to put a sausage within a bao. Alternatively you could also do sausages in a lettuce wrap if you are carb conscious. Delicious and clever!

For the main course, we are tasting the wagyu beef burgers. Now I must admit that the chefs are Esquire did a much better job in executing the burger. The meat is well cooked with the cheese and the gherkins compliment well with the Beak and Sons wagyu beef. I recommend!

I am also treated to some mac and cheese and a side salad to complete the main meal. Mac and cheese is always a guilty pleasure for me.

Cheers! For dessert I am enjoy the Mousse below. It's beautifully presented with a thick crispy shard with berries. I must say I am quite impressed with how Esquire has prepared the Beak and Sons produce. It was a delicious meal and I have enjoyed the Beak and Sons meat! You should try it out and let me know what you think!

Weekend Food Escapes dined as guests of the venue or their representatives. All photos, opinions and words are my own.
